Total Bulk Lighting offers compact fluorescent PL lamps in 2-pin and 4-pin electronic styles available in 5 watts to 32 watts with 10,000 hours average life. Many of these PL lamps come in a number of color temperatures. The lower the color temperature number the "warmer" the color spectrum. For example the color temperature of 27k is similar to what an incandescent bulb is, whereas, 41k is a cool white light. We like the 41k as it is a perfect choice for kitchens, closets and common spaces. If you are lighting a space so that you can see (and not just ambient mood lighting), go with the higher color temperature.
